The Charges

Abbas Lakha KC represented Johannes Vesters. Vesters was charged with being involved in multiple conspiracies to import vast quantities of Class A drugs into the UK. Vesters was described by the Prosecution as the Head of the Dutch end of the conspiracy. Vesters was said to have been involved in the delivery of hundreds of kilos of Class A drugs. These were concealed in fruit and vegetables from his warehouse.
